THE BOSTON THANKSGIVING EVENT ; A MEMORY OF MY WONDERFUL TIME

IT WAS NOT A LONG DAY BUT ITS MOMENT LAST FOREVER
A MEMORY OF WONDERFUL BOSTON

It was last year as I remember it. Such a very exciting moment when a very good friend of mine, Miss. Linda told me and other friends to join with a Christian conference on leadership in Boston. It is an annual conference held by such International Organization, which organizes and works with international students who come for study in America. My friends and I were (lily and me) starting our journey from Rochester to Boston by a bus. The bus itself was a horrible experience. Honestly, it was the first and last nightmare of the Boston trip. The chairs rows are not like typical public bus, and I don’t think the bus was an good option for long trip. But, thank God that in the middle of our journey, there was a very kind old man who welcomed lily and me to moved to his car, which was so much better in comparison to the bus. We met bunch of South Koreans students inside of the car. They were very nice and we talked a lot along the way.

Lily and I arrived in Boston when everything already dark, I don’t even remember what time was it. We were so exciting to see our, another friend, Diego who arrived already in Boston by train from another state. Diego and I were staying in the same host family, Mr. Jhon and Mrs. Lily. It was such a bless to being with them at that moment, I personally thanked them till now for such a hospitality they offered to us, as a family in the very fondest day of thanksgiving which happened to be, my very first time Thanksgiving day in my life, in the USA. The next day, our host family, Mr. John and His children, William and Sarah were inviting us to watching the most dangerous game ever I saw in my life, American’s football. But it was worth it though, I guess, everything is worth it when it is happening for the very first time. And at night, we were celebrating the thanksgiving dinner. I still remember that moment very clearly in my mind as I’m writing this sentence. thank God for them very profusely for made that night imprinted in memory as I acknowledge as one of the fondest times during my staying in America.

In the next day was the main agenda of the conference, “how to keep the integrity among the corruption”. The speaker was from Argentina who is working for World Bank. A Very wonderful conference that teaches young generations to keep their integrity for the Glory of Lord. When it finished, then we continued our journey to visiting some places in Boston, I couldn’t help myself stop admire Boston in its unique. I said to myself, this city is one of the most wonderful and beautiful cities in America that I think, people, especially International students must come and visit this city, during their staying here in the America. Not only the historical destinations that have been offered by city itself but also the panorama of the city and architectures, which seem so classic and feeling like European aura.

MY FAV PHOTO FROM BOSTON
Till we back, to our own habitat, Nazareth College 4245 East Avenue Rochester, NY. I still feel so grateful for everything, which had happened in Boston. I thank God for Linda, for my Host family, for +Lily Wang , For +Diego Gómez  and also for Uday, and for every single person whom I met there. It was not a long day but its moment last forever.
